Hi. My name is Christine and I live in the Triangle area of North Carolina (that’s Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill for all you non-Tarheels) with my husband Erik and our beagle Carson. I am an attorney for Lenovo Arysta LifeScience by day and I am passionate about baking. Why is my blog called Two at a Time Baking? One of the people that I clearly inherited my love of baked goods from is my maternal grandmother. Her love of sweets was often reflected in her waistline. Most of the time that didn’t bother her but sometimes she felt the need to take steps to cut back. During one of these times, she declared “I’m limiting myself to two cookies.” When we asked whether she meant two a day, she emphatically replied “No! Two at a time.” She passed away in 2003 and I miss her, especially when I’m eating something sweet (which is often!) so I decided to name this blog in her honor.
